I found this view very fascinating.. The longer I looked at it the more I saw. The picture has all different motives. Just keep looking it and you will also see things you had not noticed when you first looked at it.
We drove from Golden, AB to Blue River, BC and I wanted to see what is left of glaciers. It is art 30 years since I last drove the Icefield Parkway. Here is a good example of Global Warming. Art. 30 years ago the glacier coverd over 2/3 of the sides of the mountains and the valley. Give it another 10 years and the glacier is gone.
Last day at the campsite. We had some great sunsets with reflection on the lake. Two of the four lakes . We stayed at the one in the background. We were told that the fall foliage is very impressive - we may take a trip up here at the end of September/early October.
I have not seen the seeds of the dandelion so blue before. There were quite a few around Davis Lake and I took the shoot as the sun was going down. Maybe that had the effect on the colors. I did nothing to the negative to change or enhance the colors.
Just finished setting up the tent trailer, got the fire started and a glass of vine. That is our favourite start of a vacation We have never been to this camp site before. It is on Davis Lake, which is 19 km off Coldwater Road, off Coquihalla Hwy then connecting to South Shovelhorse Forest Service Road going east towards Tulameen. There are three lakes and four Forest Service campsites. We really liked it there.
