Lisa, our daughter took us on a drive in south western portion of New Hampshire. The weather and temperature was perfect. I wanted a few pictures of the trademark of New Hampshire - foliage and in view of the strongwomen nor'easter they had a week ago and the fact that it is at the end of the foliage season I managed to get a couple. The surface of the river was quiet, still some colors and blue sky, I liked it. We passed through a covered bridge (another trade mark for NH)
This is the time for enjoying superb foliage in New Hampshire, but three last days they got a very strong Nor'easter that stripped the trees of their leaves. You can see all the leaves from this tree alone. I have never seen such a load of oak nuts on the foot of the oak trees.
