The sun has just cleared the mountains and highlights the only industry left in the False Creek area. Leighigh Hanson opened a small pipe division 125 years ago that greew to become Ocean Pipe which is still in full operation on Granville Island. Leighigh's operation is adjacent to Granville Market and the floating homes.
Shot from Burrard Bridge facing east towards Granville Street Bridge and False Creek. There 10 marinas in False Creek. The sun light skimming the view with Granville Island Public Market and brng forward the yellow color. It is made up of six old industrial buildings. The marina to the right was originally for fishing vessels. Now you will have difficulty finding a fishing vessel, all private boats.
