Easter Country Side, NH
This is Cornish - Windsor Covered Bridge spanning the Connecticut River which separate New Hampshire and Vermont. It was built in 1866 at a cost of US$9,000. It is the longest wooden bridge in the United States and the longest covered twin-span bridge in the world. It is 140 meters long.
I was surprised to see so many large buildings at farms, like the above. I assume that they may have provided accommodations for some of the workers on the farm. Unfortunately, it now sits empty and shows signs of deterioration. I was told it was built around 1800-1810.
Nearly every little town/village has a cemetery like the one above and they are usually framed with a rock fence. The cementarys are simple and well maintained.
