Seal Island, Maine, USA

Entering Smithers

A few years ago I went to Seal Island off the coast of Maine to take pictures of the birdlife on that island. It was a fascinating trip and I may want to make that trip again when we visit Lisa in May this year. The island is known for its assortment of birds, such as Atlantic Puffin (above), Razorbills, Common Murres, Arctic Tern, Shearwaters, Wilson Storm Petrels, Phalaropes, Jaegers, Northern Gannet, Black Gullemots and Elder Ducks.
