City views, Lisbon, Portugal - 2

This shot is taken from Castello de San Jorge (that I visited yesterday), that gives a panoramic view of Lisbon. I have listed four more shots below.

I admired the owner of the house below, with the breathtaking view.

What surprised me was the very narrow balconies nearly all the houses had. All you have space for will be like this apartment, no chairs and tables to sit an enjoy the view.

Many of the older houses had this decoration, Azulejo tiles, which dates back as far as the 13th century, when the Moors invited. The word stems from arabic roots, meaning small polished stones.
