Walk along historic Akerselva, Oslo, Norway -2

This is part of the old area near Akerselva and it was a market day when we passed by. The painting (art) of the houses is protected as as it is part of the history.

This building is a former brewery and converted into offices and apartments.

The building on the left is a former mill, of which there were quite a few in the old days. Akerselva is considered as one of the most active rivers for industries when construction along the river took place. The mill now is a apartment building.

We all needed a rest and a lunch, including Nexie, which is held by my daughter-in-law Hege.
